Selena Gomez and Sephora Team Up for Groundbreaking Mental Health Campaign – 100% of Sales Donated!

Sephora and Selena Gomez’s Rare Beauty have teamed up once again for the ‘Make a Rare Impact’ campaign, timed to coincide with World Mental Health Day on October 10. As part of this initiative, Sephora will donate 100% of sales from Rare Beauty products to the Rare Impact Fund, which Gomez founded in 2020 to expand access to mental health services for young people globally. This marks the second year of the collaboration, building on the success of the 2023 campaign, which spanned 28 markets, including the UK, US, France, and Brazil.

Selena Gomez, the creator of Rare Beauty, emphasised the personal importance of this initiative, reflecting on her own wish for better mental health support when she was younger. “The mental health crisis is one of the most serious issues facing young people today, and this work would not be possible without partners like Sephora,” Gomez said.

Deborah Yeh, Sephora’s Global Chief Purpose Officer, highlighted the brand’s commitment to making the beauty industry a welcoming space for all. “Sephora wants prestige beauty to be a safe and welcoming space for everyone, and we are proud to leverage the power of our brand and global network to support the Rare Impact Fund,” she said.

The Rare Impact Fund aims to raise $100 million to support youth mental health services and education. Over the past year, it has impacted more than one million young people and 1,000 educational systems worldwide. Elyse Cohen, Rare Beauty’s VP of Social Impact, added, “Joining forces with Sephora for the second year in a row is a testament to our shared values and continued commitment to addressing youth mental health.”

With this year’s renewed campaign, Sephora and Rare Beauty hope to deepen their impact, engaging a global audience in meaningful conversations around mental health and contributing to positive change.
