Ernst & Young LLP (EY) has launched ‘Transformations,’ a dynamic global marketing campaign designed to showcase the firm’s commitment to driving business innovation, transformation, and growth. As a key element of EY’s ‘Shape the Future with Confidence’ brand expansion, the 12-month initiative underscores how EY’s services and expertise enable organisations to thrive in an increasingly complex world.
Addressing Modern Business Challenges
In today’s fast-paced, interconnected world, business leaders face mounting challenges, from geopolitical tensions and rapid technological advancements to environmental concerns, talent shortages, and capital scarcity. ‘Transformations’ aims to demonstrate EY’s role in helping businesses unlock new value by transforming not just individual functions, but entire enterprises. The campaign’s central question, “Will your business shape the future or be shaped by it?”, highlights the urgent need for organisations to adapt and innovate.
Integrated Campaign on a Global Scale
The ‘Transformations’ campaign includes 60-second and 30-second television commercials, digital out-of-home (OOH) advertisements in high-traffic international airports, and an extensive presence on online and social media platforms. These advertisements will run across major global business channels such as Bloomberg, Euronews, CNBC, BBC News, CNN, and Connected TV. Complementing these efforts are podcasts, video-on-demand content, and social media banners, ensuring a cohesive and far-reaching media strategy.
Visual Storytelling and Production Excellence
Produced by award-winning company Not To Scale and directed by acclaimed Dutch filmmaker Rogier Schalken, the ‘Transformations’ film integrates live-action realism with intricate CGI and visual effects. The visually striking multi-coloured, multi-faceted shapes featured in the campaign symbolise EY’s full spectrum of services, embodying a transformative force that inspires progress. The visual effects were crafted by Sehsucht, ensuring seamless integration of animation and live-action elements to create a powerful narrative. EssenceMediacom managed the campaign’s media planning, ensuring optimal placement across key platforms.
Chris Spenceley, Managing Partner at Ogilvy UK, which spearheaded the campaign’s creative direction, explained, “We developed a visual device representing EY’s full spectrum of services as multi-faceted shapes that transform everything they touch. These shapes are a positive, aspirational force, reflecting EY’s mission to inspire and support businesses in shaping the future with confidence.”
Redefining Leadership in a Changing World
The campaign underscores a shift away from traditional, linear strategies to more agile, human-centric leadership models. EY’s Global Chief Brand and Marketing Officer, John Rudaizky, highlighted the importance of reimagining business strategies. “Traditional multiyear plans and linear transformations no longer suffice in today’s dynamic environment. Success depends on human-centric leadership, strategic ecosystems, and collaborative full-spectrum teams tackling challenges together,” said Rudaizky.
Inspiring Confidence Through Innovation
‘Transformations’ serves as a call to action for businesses to embrace innovation and adaptability. By leveraging EY’s expertise and ecosystem of partners, organisations can turn challenges into opportunities and position themselves as leaders in their respective industries.
