Aston Martin Aramco Transforms North Greenwich Tube Station Ahead of F1 75 Live at The O2

North Greenwich station in London has been transformed into an electrifying homage to the world of Formula 1, thanks to Aston Martin Aramco. The renowned racing team has taken over the station, painting it in its iconic Racing Green and offering fans and commuters a captivating prelude to the highly anticipated F1 75 Live event at The O2 on 18 February.

The activation, which began on 10 February and runs until 24 February, has turned the station, located on the Jubilee Line — a key commuter route to The O2 — into an immersive experience that brings the thrilling world of F1 to everyday life. Aston Martin Aramco’s takeover features 70 strategically placed touchpoints throughout the station, including stunning imagery of team drivers Lance Stroll and Fernando Alonso, and creates a visceral connection to the sport for everyone passing through.

“Our North Greenwich takeover boldly reflects our commitment to bring the energy of our sport into everyday life,” said Rob Bloom, Aston Martin Aramco’s Chief Marketing Officer. “This activation is a symbol of our ambition to create extraordinary moments that resonate across society and culture. It puts fans at the heart of our world in a way that’s impossible to ignore.”

The station has been fully enveloped in Aston Martin branding, with striking artwork stretching from the ticket hall and barriers to the escalators and platforms. This artistic display gives fans a taste of the excitement surrounding the team’s future in Formula 1, culminating in the livery reveal of the 2025 AMR25 F1 car, which will be unveiled during a promotional event at Bahrain International Circuit.

As part of the experience, fans can indulge in various activities. A bespoke stall at the station is handing out over 1,000 specially designed Aston Martin cupcakes and team gifts, perfect for expressing support for the team ahead of the big reveal. For those wanting a more interactive experience, a photo booth on the ticket hall level allows fans to add their own face to one of the displayed artworks, creating personalised mementos of their journey.

Fans also have the opportunity to take photos with members of the Aston Martin pit crew who will be stationed at the station, adding an extra layer of excitement and engagement. And perhaps most exciting of all, the AMR24 showcar is on display at the concourse — a striking sight that provides a taste of what’s to come before the real action unfolds at F1 75 Live.

For those who don’t know, F1 75 Live is a historic event marking the sport’s 75th anniversary. For the first time in F1 history, all 10 teams will reveal their 2025 liveries simultaneously. The event, held at The O2, will be attended by 15,000 fans and will also be broadcast live, allowing F1 fans worldwide to tune in and witness the spectacle. The show will be hosted by comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, with musical performances from acts like Kane Brown, MGK, Brian Tyler’s Are We Dreaming, and Take That.

In what could only be described as a celebration of speed, precision, and passion, Aston Martin’s takeover of North Greenwich Tube station is a bold marketing move that brings F1 racing culture into the heart of London. It’s not just about showcasing a brand; it’s about creating an immersive experience that invites fans to feel part of the action before the 2025 F1 season even begins.

Whether you’re a commuter or an F1 enthusiast, the station is a must-see this month, as Aston Martin Aramco continues its mission to bring the thrill of motorsport to the public in unforgettable ways.
