In a significant milestone since its founding in 2011, Beavertown Brewery has launched its first-ever television advertisement. Founded by Logan Plant, son of Led Zeppelin guitarist Robert Plant, Beavertown has become renowned for its distinctive skull illustrations and animations. The new campaign, “Beavertown: Pub Stories – A Good Night Out,” embraces the brewery’s iconic visual style to tell engaging stories of memorable nights out.
A Humorous and Animated Take on Social Connections
Tonight, 23 May, marks Beavertown’s debut on television screens across the nation with an animated spot that taps into the brand’s humorous and cartoonish imagery. The 60-second advert is a co-production by Riff Raff Films and Ridley Scott Creative Group’s Black Dog Films. It vividly portrays animated skeletal figures bonding over their shared stories of nights out, capturing the essence of Beavertown’s playful and social spirit.
A Collaborative Effort
Directed by Ed Morris, the campaign sees the collaboration of long-time Beavertown partners, the agency Like Minded Individuals, and animator Alice Bloomfield. The ad is part of Beavertown’s new platform, “For Humans and Other Social Beings,” aiming to celebrate the connections and stories that come from shared experiences.
Multi-Channel Launch
The campaign will be rolled out nationwide across a mix of channels, including TV, out-of-home (OOH), digital platforms, podcasts, and bespoke trade activations. By leveraging Bloomfield’s illustrations, Beavertown aims to inspire people to share their own stories of great nights out.
