Primark and Pinterest Launch Interactive Homeware Shopping Experience

Primark has unveiled an innovative try-before-you-buy interactive tool on Pinterest, marking a significant evolution in its 2025 spring homeware campaign. The collaboration allows consumers to engage with the ‘Pinterest Collages’ feature, enabling them to visualise and style Primark’s latest homeware collection before making a purchase.

A Seamless Shopping Experience

The new collection, featuring floral crockery, soft pink frill bedding, and other trend-led pieces, is now accessible through ‘Pinterest Collages’. This interactive tool allows users to curate their dream interiors using digital cutouts of Primark’s homeware range. Once satisfied with their designs, shoppers can conveniently purchase their selections via Click & Collect, now available in over 130 Primark stores across Great Britain, or opt to shop in-store throughout March.

Heather Clark, Head of Retail at Pinterest UK, highlighted the platform’s influence on home décor trends: “We’ve seen searches rise for pastel palettes, an understated luxury aesthetic, and darling furnishings. With new ways to shop Primark’s trend-certified home range, it’s now even easier to bring this inspiration to life.”

Exclusive Masterclasses & Nationwide Activations

Primark is further enhancing the customer experience by offering in-store Pinterest Collage masterclasses at select locations, including London’s Oxford Street East, Belfast, Liverpool, and Glasgow. These sessions will provide hands-on guidance for shoppers looking to refine their interior styles using Pinterest Collages.

Key dates for the masterclasses include:

  • Oxford Street East, London – 8th & 9th March
  • Belfast – 15th & 16th March
  • Liverpool – 22nd & 23rd March
  • Glasgow – 28th & 29th March

Beyond in-store experiences, the partnership extends to Primark’s marketing campaign, with takeovers of Pinterest’s Spotlight, Shopping Ads, and Home Feed. Over 70 Primark window displays in major cities such as London, Manchester, Newcastle, and Edinburgh will showcase the collection in a Pinterest Collage format.

Spring’s Top Interior Trends

The 2025 spring homeware collection is inspired by Pinterest UK’s search data, capturing three key aesthetics:

Cosy Cottage – A nostalgic, whimsical trend that blends playful motifs, floral prints, soft pastels, and delicate frills. Inspired by surging Pinterest searches for ‘cosy cottage bedroom’ (+170%) and ‘floral’ (+40%), this collection embodies charm and romance.

Minamaluxe – A sophisticated, minimalist style defined by earthy tones, creamy neutrals, and elegant textures. It reflects growing interest in ‘earthy colour palettes’ (+120%) and ‘luxury living rooms’ (+115%).

Dainty Décor – A fun and feminine aesthetic featuring ruffles, pink tones, petite florals, and delicate bows, aligning with increased searches for ‘whimsical bedroom’ (+130%) and ‘pink bow’ (+160%).

Sinead McDonagh, Head of Design at Primark, emphasised the brand’s commitment to accessible interior styling: “Pinterest is where so many of us go for home inspiration, but turning those saved Pins into reality isn’t always easy, especially on a budget. At Primark Home, we’re dedicated to making trend-led interiors both affordable and effortless.”

Designing Your Dream Space

For those looking to bring these trends to life, McDonagh shares practical styling tips:

  • Find Your Style – Whether you lean towards minimalist elegance or whimsical charm, begin with a neutral base and layer in textures and statement pieces.
  • Elevate the Everyday – Small touches, such as nostalgic ceramics or delicate frilled accents, can transform a space with minimal effort.
  • Make It Personal – Mix and match elements to create a home that reflects your personality.

Bringing Inspiration Home

Primark and Pinterest’s collaboration bridges the gap between inspiration and reality, making stylish home makeovers accessible to all. To further celebrate this initiative, Primark is offering customers a chance to win a £500 gift card by participating in its Pinterest Collage giveaway. As consumer interest in home refreshes grows—86% of UK adults aged 18–44 now prioritise home updates over dining out—this initiative arrives at the perfect time.
